NEWPORT, OR – The Coast Guard recovered the body of a 51 year old Newport woman on Wednesday morning near Port Dock 7 in Yaquina Bay.
The body was taken to the Coast Guard dock where she was pronounced dead. Newport police Sgt Jason Malloy said that the woman had jumped from the Yaquina Bay Bridge on December 10.
