ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Coast Guard personnel from Sector Anchorage conduct an annual inspection on the Shoreside Petroleum Inc. mobile facility in Whittier Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008. Several deficiencies were noted including the lack of a response plan.
The Captain of the Port Western Alaska, Capt. Mark Hamilton, put a temporary hold on the company’s fuel transfer operations until the deficiency is corrected.
