Update on Coast Guard search for overboard fisherman

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Coast Guard has suspended searching for the night and will restart searching for 27 year old fisherman, Anh Hoang Ngo, who went overboard the fishing boat “UT” home ported out of Rockport, Texas earlier today in the Matagorda Bay and was previously miss-reported as being named Nhan Nhuyen.

Then Coast Guard has completed five searches looking for Mr. Ngo: three searches were conducted by the crew of a HH-65C rescue helicopter from Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi, one search was conducted by the crew of a 25 foot rescue boat, and another search was conducted by the crew of a 41 foot rescue boat; both rescue boat crews responded from Coast Guard Station Port O’Connor.
