Unified Command response crews, comprised of Coast Guard personnel, California Department of Fish and Game Office of Spill Prevention and Response and Santa Cruz Port District officials, are assessing and responding to any and all impacts to area shorelines that resulted from the West Coast tsunami caused by an 8.9 earthquake that struck Japan.
