U.S. Coast Guard is seeking public comment on the Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking

Lady JusticeSEATTLE – The Coast Guard is seeking comment on the Supplemental Notice of Proposed Rulemaking establishing a safety zone in Seattle’s Elliot Bay at Pier 66.

The SNPRM was published in the Federal Register on Nov. 24, 2010. Comments and related material must be submitted to the docket on or before Dec. 27, 2010.

The SNPRM amends its proposed regulation to establish a permanent safety zone extending 100 yards from Pier 66 to ensure adequate safety during the parade of ships and aerial demonstration for Fleet Week. This SNPRM introduces revisions to enforcement dates, times and location of this safety zone.
