Grand Marais, MI – Last Friday, while most of us were making last minute Christmas plans, the Coast Guard and recovery crews were hard at work refloating the Tug Seneca. Crews dug a trench to tow the boat away from the beach.
The Seneca was being hauled back to its home port after undergoing repairs in Sault Ste. Marie when it broke loose during a storm earlier this month.
