Coast Guard responds to tanker aground near Nunivak Island, Alaska
ANCHORAGE, Alaska — The Coast Guard is responding to a report of the 599-foot Norway flagged chemical tanker Champion Ebony after it ran aground near Nunivak Island, Alaska, Friday morning.
The crew of Champion Ebony was able to refloat the vessel and make way under its own power to deeper water at approximately 9:28 a.m., reported no signs of pollution, and is anchored to assess for damages.

Coast Guard continues monitoring M/V Roger Blough aground in Lake Superior
SAULT STE MARIE, Mich. — The U.S. Coast Guard continues to monitor and respond to the motor vessel Roger Blough, Wednesday, after the vessel ran aground Friday afternoon on Gros Cap Reef in Whitefish Bay in Lake Superior.
Plans continue to progress to safely free the Blough from Gros Cap Reef through the combined efforts of Canadian partners, company representatives and the U.S. Coast Guard.

Coast Guard, partner agencies respond to cruise ship grounding in Boston Harbor
BOSTON – The Coast Guard along with partner agencies responded to the grounding of the Majesty, a 113-foot Boston Harbor Cruise Ship, with 152 people aboard Saturday night.
At approximately 7 p.m. Coast Guard Sector Boston received notification that the Majesty had run aground near Georges Island in Boston Harbor.
No injuries, damage to the boat, or pollution have been reported.
