Edward Latz Sr., 65, was reported missing by his son after the man did not return from a fishing trip. The man’s vehicle and trailer were located at Sewaren Marina in Sewaren, N.J.

NEW YORK – Three people were rescued in Sandy Hook Channel, N.J., after their vessel partially sank at approximately 3:30 p.m. today.
14 Year Old Medevaced from Cruise Ship South of Ambrose Channel
NEW YORK- A 14-year-old boy was medevaced from a cruise ship 35 miles southeast of Ambrose Channel around 12:30 a.m. today.
The boy was medevaced from the cruise ship Norwegian Spirit after complaining of severe abdominal pain and high fever. The captain of the vessel requested Coast Guard assistance via phone and the Coast Guard flight surgeon determined a medevac by small boat was necessary.
Search Suspended for Missing Swimmer at Coney Island
NEW YORK-The search was suspended for a 10-year-old female swimmer at Coney Island, N.Y., pending further developments around 3:12 p.m. today.
“The Coast Guard along with the New York City Police and Fire Departments and local partners conducted an aggressive shoreline search and have not found the missing swimmer,” said Cmdr. Gregory Hitchen, Coast Guard Sector New York chief of operations.
