HOUSTON — The Coast Guard is currently searching for a 47-year old male who was reported to have fallen overboard a shrimping vessel on July 17, 2009, 14 miles off the Matagorda coast.

HOUSTON – At approximately 12:30 p.m. today, an Air Station Houston HH-65C rescue helicopter crew hoisted the fourth missing man who was onboard the 18-foot powerboat that capsized yesterday, in the Gulf of Mexico.

Coast Guard Rescues Three Boaters, Continue Searching For Two Others
HOUSTON – The Coast Guard rescued three boaters this evening, and is searching for two more in the Gulf of Mexico, approximately 12-miles off the coast of Freeport.
The 41-foot boat crew safely rescued two of the boaters, while the rescue helicopter crew safely hoisted one boater. The remaining two persons reportedly swam to a nearby oil rig.
