USCGC Chase comes home after successful 3-month Counter Narcotics patrol

SAN DIEGO, Calif. — The U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Chase returned to homeport here, Thursday, after a successful three month deployment conducting law enforcement operations off the coast of Central and South America.

Coast Guard Cutter Alert returns home to Astoria today

SEATTLE – The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter Alert will return to their homeport in Astoria, Ore., Thursday at 9:30 a.m. While on a routine patrol in the Eastern Pacific, the crew of the Alert successfully interdicted a Self-Propelled Semi-Submersible vessel (SPSS) laden with approximately 5,000 kg. of cocaine.
