Coast Guard responds to sinking boat northwest of Provincetown
The Coast Guard responded to a boat taking on water six miles northwest of Provincetown, Mass., Saturday at 8:25 a.m.
The three-person crew of the Five for Fighting notified Coast Guard Sector Boston on channel 16 VHF/FM that they were taking on water and needed help.

Capt. John N. Healey assumed responsibility as commanding officer of Sector Boston from Capt. Gail Kulisch, in a time-honored ceremony that formally transfers authority and accountability from one individual to another.
Coast Guard searching for missing diver
GLOUCESTER, Mass. – The Coast Guard is looking for a 50-year-old diver about one half mile south of Gloucester after he failed to surface when scheduled today.
The crew aboard the Boston-based sport dive boat he was diving from notified Coast Guard Station Gloucester at about 4 p.m., that the man had been diving in about 90 feet of water off Eastern Point and was more than two hours overdue.
