Coast Guard rescues father and son from surf near Pacific City, Oregon

Astoria, Ore. — The Coast Guard rescued an 11-year-old boy and his father caught in the surf near Pacific City, Ore., Friday.

ASTORIA, Ore. – The Coast Guard rescued four surfers caught in a riptide between Depoe Bay, Ore., and Newport, Ore., Thursday, in an area known as Devils Punchbowl.
