SEATTLE — The Coast Guard Capt. of the Port, for the Sector Puget Sound area of responsibility, has closed the Quillayute River bar, and the Capt. of the Port, for the Sector Columbia River, Ore., area of responibility, has closed the Tillamook Bay, Depoe Bay, Yaquina Bay, Siuslaw River and Umpqua River, Ore., bars, Monday, due to hazardous conditions.

Seattle – The Coast Guard Captain of the Port (COTP) Sector Columbia River, in Astoria, Ore., and the COTP Sector Puget Sound in Seattle issued the closure of multiple river bars within Oregon and Washington due to hazardous conditions Sunday.
