Coast Guard announces safety zone on Allegheny River
PITTSBURGH — The Coast Guard Captain of the Port Pittsburgh will establish a safety zone from mile marker .4 to mile marker .6 on the Allegheny River, Saturday, for a fireworks display sponsored by the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Navigation will be restricted the entire width of the river from mile marker .4 to mile marker .6. The safety zone will be enforced from 9 p.m. until approximately 11:30 p.m.
