PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard medevaced a 78-year-old man Saturday from an aground 19-foot boat with three people aboard at the mouth of the Neuse River near Hobucken, N.C.
A crewmember aboard the aground boat contacted Coast Guard Station Hobucken watchstanders at approximately 9:15 p.m. Saturday, reporting one person aboard sustained injuries to his neck and back when their boat ran aground.
