Northern California Coast Guard crews head to Haiti to assist with earthquake relief
ALAMEDA, Calif. – A Coast Guard HC-130 Hercules long range search and rescue aircraft flew from Air Station Sacramento to Air Station Clearwater, Fla. yesterday with two Coast Guard flight crews, a Federal Emergency Management Agency response team and emergency response equipment. The plane has picked up additional personnel and equipment for transport to Haiti.
