Apra Harbor, GUAM – Two missing mariners are safe after they were located by a Marine Corps aircrew approximately 69 miles northwest of Chuuk Island at 2 p.m. Wednesday.
A Marine Corps aircrew piloting a KC-130J Super Hercules aircraft from Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 152 spotted the skiff while conducting a search in coordination with Coast Guard Sector Guam.

Apra Harbor, GUAM – The U.S. Coast Guard and the U.S. Marine Corps are searching for two overdue mariners in the vicintiy of Chuuk Island, Federated States of Micronesia.
Coast Guardsmen in Sector Guam were notified by representatives from the Federated States of Micronesia that a 23-foot skiff with two persons aboard was overdue from Nomwin Atoll to Weno, Chuuk Island at 3:17 p.m., Tuesday.
