SANTA CRUZ ISLAND, Calif. — Coast Guard Marine Safety Detachment Santa Barbara and Coast Guard Station Channel Islands Harbor oversaw the safe removal of the 30-foot squid-fishing vessel Lady Francis Tuesday evening, which was aground on the east coast of Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary.

SANTA CRUZ ISLAND, Calif. — The Coast Guard responded early Tuesday to a report that the 30-foot squid-fishing vessel Lady Francis had run aground on the east coast of Santa Cruz Island in the Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary.

MIAMI – Crewmembers from the Coast Guard Cutter Chandeleur rescued two men from the water after their vessel caught fire near Government Cut in Miami Wednesday.
