Integrated Support Command Kodiak Fire Department claims two top Coast Guard awards

KODIAK, Alaska – Personnel from Coast Guard Integrated Support Command (ISC) Kodiak’s Fire Department will accept the awards for 2009 Coast Guard Fire Department of the Year and the Civilian Firefighter of the Year Award at a banquet Friday during the Annual Department of Defense Fire and Emergency Training Services Conference in Dallas.

Coast Guard Cutter Munro to hold change of command

KODIAK, Alaska – The Coast Guard Cutter Munro will hold a change of command ceremony Friday at 10 a.m. in the Northern Lights Recreational Facility an Integrated Support Command Kodiak facility on Coast Guard Base Kodiak where Capt. Matthew T. Bell will relieve Capt. Craig B. Lloyd as commanding officer in a formal ceremony.

Integrated Support Command Kodiak Engineer Named Engineer of the Year

Washington – Coast Guard RADM T.P. Ostebo, Assistant Commandant for Engineering and Logistics announced today that Laura W. Kelly of the Coast Guard’s Integrated Support Command (ISC) in Kodiak, Alaska is the winner of the 2009 Coast Guard Engineer of the year award.

Coast Guard Awards New Recycling Contract for Kodiak Base

JUNEAU, Alaska – The Coast Guard has awarded a Recyclable Waste Processing and Disposal Service Contract for $1.11 million to Nick’s Auto & Salvage at Integrated Support Command (ISC) Kodiak beginning Nov. 17, 2008. The contract is for Base Year and four options.

Coast Guard lends helping hand to playground on Kodiak Island

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Members of the Coast Guard Aids-to-Navigation Team in Kodiak and Integrated Support Command Kodiak volunteered their time to improve the playground at Peterson Elementary in mid-October.
