ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. – An HC-130J Hercules aircraft crew from Air Station Elizabeth City flew parallel to the coast from North Carolina to Cape Cod about 100 miles offshore on Thursday transmitting an Urgent Marine Information Broadcast to notify mariners that Hurricane Bill is approaching.
