JUNEAU, Alaska — A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew, Alaska State Troopers and Ketchikan Volunteer Rescue Squad rescued two overdue hikers from Deer Mountain near Ketchikan, Alaska, Friday night.
The hikers were hoisted and transported to awaiting emergency medical personnel in Ketchikan to be treated for possible hypothermia.

WARRENTON, Ore. — The U.S. Coast Guard rescued two stranded hikers and five members of a group attempting to recover the hikers on Mount Adams in Skamania County, Wash., Tuesday.
An MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Astoria, Ore., hoisted and transported all seven people to Portland International Airport at approximately 8 p.m.
