SOUTH PORTLAND, Maine – The Coast Guard towed a Rye Harbor, N.H., fishing vessel to safety Thursday, after it was disabled 43 miles southeast of Portland, Maine, at 11 a.m.
After the battery onboard the Ann Marie died, the crew called the Coast Guard on channel 16 VHF/FM for help.

BOSTON- The crew of Coast Guard Cutter Flyingfish is working to assist two New Bedford-based fishing vessels that are disabled about 30 miles east of Nantucket.
