A 41-foot Utility Boat from Coast Guard Station Channel Islands Harbor was launched to the scene and safely escorted the vessel into Channel Islands Harbor.

Missing sailor off Catalina Island found safe
CATALINA ISLAND, Calif. — The sailor that was the subject of a search by local agencies was found safe today about 6:30 p.m. by Isthmus harbor police in Isthmus harbor, Catalina. The sailor was spotted by a local Coast Guard Auxiliarist who reported the sighting to Sector Los Angeles-Long Beach and relayed the sighting to Baywatch and the Harbor police.
