MIAMI — The Coast Guard urges South Florida recreational boaters considering transiting toward Cuban territorial waters to “not take to the sea.”

Coast Guard Permit For Cuban Entry Changes Announced

MIAMI – Effective June 5, the Department of Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) amended its regulations requiring separate authorization from the Department of Commerce for U.S. vessels traveling to Cuba.
