Coast Guard rescues three boaters near Coronado Islands
SAN DIEGO — The U.S. Coast Guard assisted three boaters about four miles southwest of the Coronado Islands, Mexico, after their boat began taking on water, Sunday.
A commercial marine assistance company contacted the Coast Guard around 3:30 p.m., reporting a 19-foot bayliner was taking on water and the on board pumps were unable to keep up with the flooding.
