Coast Guard to continue security zones on East River for U.N. General Assembly
NEW YORK – The Coast Guard will continue to enforce security zones on the East River, with an additional full river closure expected for Wednesday, Sept. 22, due to the U.N. General Assembly meeting this week.

NEW YORK – The Coast Guard will establish and enforce additional security zones on the East River, periodically restricting vessel traffic through the upper harbor near the United Nations Headquarters, starting at 7 a.m., Sept. 20, 2010.
