Coast Guard crew rescues fishing crew from hazardous water
BOSTON — A U.S. Coast Guard crew towed a 24-foot fishing vessel to safety after it became disabled and began drifting near rocky, shallow water in the vicinity of Quoddy Head State Park in Lubec, Maine, Thursday.
The two-person crew of the Miss Britt, homeported in Lubec, requested Coast Guard assistance around 10:40 a.m., when their boat became disabled near Carrying Place Cove.
