BOOTHBAY HARBOR, Maine – The Coast Guard is looking for information regarding a flare sighted in Georges River near Thomaston Harbor at around 6:30 p.m., Jan. 8, 2011. Coast Guard Sector Northern New England received a report of the flare from a good Samaritan on shore.
