NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard suspended its search Monday at 10:30 a.m. for a person in the Boudreaux Canal.
Missing is Jimmy Garcia, 49, last seen entering the Boudreaux Canal without a life jacket.

NEW ORLEANS — The Coast Guard is scheduled to oversee an in-situ burn for a crude oil discharge in Delta Farms, Louisiana, Monday.
Watchstanders at Marine Safety Unit Houma received the initial report of the oil discharge in an unnamed canal southwest of Bayou Perot at 1:30 p.m. on November 9th.
