NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard has ended the search for a man missing near Cat Island, Mississippi, after his body was found Monday.
A Coast Guard Auxiliary vessel located the body, and Mississippi Department of Marine Resources recovered it and transferred it to shore where a Mississippi Coroner positively identified the body as the missing person in the water.

NEW ORLEANS — Crewmembers of Coast Guard Cutter Stingray successfully transferred the tow of a disabled fishing vessel with three people aboard to Tug Enterprise near Fort Morgan, Alabama, at 3:06 p.m., Tuesday.
The fishing vessel was towed to Tug Enterprise’s Construction Solutions International and was moored at6:20 p.m. in Theodore, Alabama.

Coast Guard assists in return of overdue boater
NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard assisted in the return of an overdue boater to St. Pete Pier, Florida, Tuesday.
The Coast Guard Cutter Stingray established communication between 52-year-old Scott Albon and Sea Tow. Sea Tow took the vessel in tow at 36 miles offshore and brought Albon closer to shore where he was given fuel to drive the rest of the way in, arriving at 4:28 p.m.

NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard found an overdue boater 87 miles northwest of St. Petersburg, Florida, Monday.
A Coast Guard Aviation Training Center HC-144 Ocean Sentry aircrew made visual confirmation of 52 year-old Scott Albon aboard his vessel off the coast of Florida at 3:30 p.m., Monday. Albon was reported in stable condition.
