KODIAK, Alaska — The Coast Guard rescued an overdue boater Monday from Naked Island near Juneau, Alaska.
A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60 Jayhawk helicopter crew hoisted the boater at approximately 2:40 a.m. and safely transported him to the Juneau airport.

Juneau, Alaska — The Coast Guard, Alaska State Troopers, U. S. Forest Service, and Ketchikan Volunteer Rescue Squad (KVRS) responded to a downed aircraft Thursday eight miles northeast of Ketchikan, Alaska.

JUNEAU, Alaska — A Coast Guard Air Station Sitka MH-60T Jayhawk crew rescued five people aboard a tug that ran aground on the Mariposa Reef on the south side of Strait Island in Sumner Strait Thursday.
