KODIAK, Alaska – The Coast Guard rescued a 70-year-old man from the waters of Union Bay, Alaska, northwest of Meyers Chuck, Sunday.

SITKA, Alaska — The Coast Guard rescued a man after he intentionally ran his boat aground on Strait Island near Port Protection, Saturday.

JUNEAU, Alaska — The Coast Guard rescued five fishermen from a life raft Tuesday after they were forced to abandon their fishing vessel taking on water southeast of Sitka.
