Coast Guard medevacs injured cargo ship employee 230 miles off the central Oregon coast
SEATTLE — The Coast Guard medevaced a cargo ship employee 230 miles off the coast of central Oregon after he sustained burns, Sunday.
The individual was taken to Legacy Emanuel Medical Center in Portland, Ore.
Watchstanders at Coast Guard Pacific Area command center received a call from crewmembers aboard the cargo ship APL Tokyo after their second engineer came into contact with hot oil.
