ANCHORAGE, Alaska — Capt. Paul Mehler III will transfer command of Coast Guard Sector Anchorage to Capt. Paul Albertson during a change of command ceremony at the National Guard Armory on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson July 8.
Mehler has been the commanding officer of Sector Anchorage since 2012 and will retire from the Coast Guard upon transfering command of Sector Anchorage.
