Coast Guard end search for boater in Pagan River in Smithfield, Va.
PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard and local authorities have ended the search for a 17-year-old male after divers from the Virginia State Police scuba team recovered his body in the Pagan River in Smithfield, Wednesday.
The boater, who was not wearing a life jacket, was recovered by members of the dive team at approximately 10 a.m.
