Coast Guard suspends search for two missing people from plane crash near Emerald Isle
PORTSMOUTH, Va. — The Coast Guard has suspended its search for two missing persons involved in a Cessna airplane crash 13 miles southeast of Bogue Inlet, North Carolina.

WILMINGTON, N.C. — The Coast Guard completed the reestablishment of 12 navigational aids Thursday in Bogue Inlet, North Carolina, near Emerald Isle and Swansboro.
Crews from Coast Guard Aids to Navigation Team Fort Macon replaced the navigational aids after the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers completed dredging and depth surveys. The aids now mark safe water.
