Amity Ace Safely Refloated in Brunswick River
BRUNSWICK, Ga. (D7 Public Affairs) – The motor vessel Amity Ace was successfully re-floated and has been moored to a dock facility at Colonel’s Island in Brunswick Friday afternoon.
At approximately 1:10 p.m. the vessel was able to re-float itself with the assistance of two towing vessels along with the rising tide. The vessel will be required to conduct a hull survey to look for damage.

BRUNSWICK, Ga. (D7 Public Affairs) – The motor vessel Amity Ace remains grounded in the Brunswick River after reportedly losing power Friday morning.
The vessel has developed a salvage plan that is currently being reviewed by the Coast Guard. If approved, an attempt to re-float the vessel with the assistance of two towing vessels will be made around 1:30 p.m. as the tide rises.
