SAN DIEGO — The Coast Guard secured it’s Sector San Diego base this afternoon after a suspicious package was reported in the vicinity of the main gate by security personnel.
At approximately 12:30 p.m. the main gate to the base was secured and San Diego Harbor Police established a perimeter around the suspicious package. The San Diego Fire Department Explosive Ordance Disposal (EOD) team also responded.
