Some thoughts on change

Peter A. Stinson has an excellent post about change over at An Unofficial Coast Guard Blog. It applies, not just to the Coast Guard but to life in general.

Without change, all life would end. Without change, organizations would turn to dust, entropy having set in the moment everything stood still.

So, here we are, in an organization which is rapidly changing around us. How can we manage that change?

The bad news, is that we can’t manage the change. What we can manage is our own response to that change.
