SEATTLE — More than 40 Coast Guardsmen from units throughout the Pacific Northwest participated in the Seattle Mariner’s Salute to the Armed Forces at Seattle’s Safeco Field, April 13, 2013.
This was the 11th annual Salute to the Armed Forces held by the Seattle Mariners.
Events included presentation of commemorative plaques to senior military leaders, a joint-service color guard and flag presentation, recognition of top military performers and ceremonial first pitches thrown out by a member of each armed service.
