BOSTON — The public is invited to attend free open houses hosted at Coast Guard stations in Massachusetts to kick off National Safe Boating Week, May 18-24, and the summer boating season.
Coast Guard Station Gloucester
The station is scheduled to host tours, a search and rescue demonstration, a K-9 demonstration, and events from the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary and other partners on May 18, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m..
Coast Guard Station Menemsha
May 18, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
The open house will include tours of the station, boats and a helicopter on May 18, Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The helicopter tour is scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
