Liberian tanker no longer aground in Delaware River

SALEM, N.J. – A Liberian flagged tanker is no longer aground Monday in the Delaware River near Salem N.J., outside the main shipping channel near Baker Range.

The NS Stella broke free from being aground under their own power and was turned into the channel by a tug boat.

The Stella was coming from the Netherlands with 21 people aboard transporting Naptha, an industrial solvent petroleum ether used for gasoline additive, to Fort Mifflin, Philadelphia and Sun Eagle Point, N.J.
