Huntington Coast Guard Deploys For Ohio Flooding

HUNTINGTON, W. Va. – The Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit Huntington has deployed a Disaster Assistance Response Team (DART) in response to flooding in Finley, Ohio and parts west along the Blanchard River, today.

The DART will provide assistance in search and rescue operations for flood victims in the impacted areas.

Huntington’s self-sustaining DART consists of a seven person crew and is fully outfitted with three shallow water boats and an array of equipment and supplies.
