Guam – The Coast Guard, working with other agencies, rescued five people from the MV Head Shaker this morning off Ritidian Point in Dededo. Lt Marcus Hirschberg said that some of the victims were rescued by the Guam Fire Department. Other victims were hoisted off the vessel by a helicopter assigned to the Navy Helicopter Sea Squadron 25.
Others taking part in the rescue were the Coast Guard Cutter Assateague and the USS Frank Cable.
