CAPE MAY, N.J. — Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson attended a recruit graduation ceremony, Friday, at the Coast Guard Training Center Cape May.
Johnson provided a speech that applauded the recruits of LIMA 191 on their accomplishment and handed out graduation certificates to each member of the company.
Coast Guard Training Center Cape May is the only accession point for Coast Guard enlistees to receive their basic training before going into the fleet. On average, the training center graduates approximately 3,500 recruits a year.
