Cutter William Tate crew to host Battle of the Bulge veterans

PHILADELPHIA – The crew of the Coast Guard Cutter William Tate, homeported at Coast Guard Sector Delaware Bay in Philadelphia, is scheduled to host a cruise and barbecue event beginning Monday at 10 a.m. for more than 55 World War II veterans of the Battle of the Bulge.

The crew of the William Tate is scheduled to take the veterans underway on the Delaware River and demonstrate servicing a buoy followed by a barbecue on the deck of the cutter in honor of the veterans. The crew of the William Tate will return to port by 1 p.m.
