BALTIMORE – The Coast Guard is scheduled to host the Nate Bruckenthal Memorial Run held at the Coast Guard Yard in Baltimore, Md., Saturday.
Coast Guard Sector Baltimore and the Baltimore Area Spouse’s Association will be hosting a 5K run/walk and a free kids fun run on Saturday April 24, at 8:45 a.m. to 10:30 a.m,
The run is dedicated to Nathan Bruckenthal, a Coast Guardsman who died in Iraq April 24, 2004, during Operation Iraqi Freedom. All proceeds will go to support the Nate Bruckenthal Open Door Baby Pantry, a new and used baby goods pantry that helps young military families obtain free baby items.
