BALTIMORE — The Coast Guard suspended its search Friday for a boater who was reported overdue after personnel from Maryland Natural Resource Police located the mariner and his boat at Crab Alley Marina in Chester.
Coast Guard Sector Baltimore watchstanders received a report from a friend of the mariner, stating the mariner left from Crab Alley Marina in Chester and failed to arrived at Whithall Creek at the planned time.
Sector Baltimore personnel issued an urgent marine information broadcast and launched a 45-foot Response Boat-Medium crew from Coast Guard Station Annapolis and an MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station Atlantic City, New Jersey, to search.
