NEW ORLEANS – The Coast Guard suspended the search for Marquise Hill, 25, after he was found deceased in Lake Pontchartrain at approximately 2:30 p.m., today.
Hill was found by Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries and transfered to the New Orleans coroners office.
Er, wouldn’t that be the Coast Guard closed its search? Sinice Mr. Hill was found, the case is closed, not suspended; or, I would have thought, anyway.
Also, note that Mr. Hill was evidently NOT wearing a PFD.
Would he ever have gone onto the football field without a helmet and pads? Very sad.
I would have thought so also but the official release states that it was suspended. Either way, it is quite sad.
