Coast Guard Station Fort Pierce to hold open house

MIAMI — Coast Guard Station Fort Pierce, Florida, is scheduled to host a public open house on May 10 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Station Fort Pierce is opening their doors to the public for a tour of the station’s assets and demonstrations from Coast Guard and partner agency first responders.

Some of the attractions include a visit from the PFD Panda, a touch tank with local marine wildlife and face painting for children.

On display will be:

  • Coast Guard cutters and small boats
  • Coast Guard wet-trainer demonstrations
  • Ft. Pierce Police Department
  • Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission Marine Unit
  • Indian River County Marine Unit
  • St. Lucie Police Department Marine Unit
  • Ft. Pierce Police Department K-9 Unit
